How far with your plans for this year

How far with your plans for this year?

Psalms 90:12; “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

The first quarter of the year is almost over. Three months are going by in 2022. What account can you give? What results can you present?. How far with your plans for this year?
At the beginning of the year, we all had 365 days, equal to 8760 hours. Can you imagine that 90 days are gone?

Moses prayed and said, “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
One of the greatest wisdom of life is the wisdom of time management. Time is the number one riches of life. Life is all about time. Our years on earth are actually months, days, and hours we have lived on earth.
Wise people invest their days; average people use or spend their days; while the foolish ones waste their days.

It is important to stop a while and take stock of your life during the first three months. Examine different aspects of your life and your goals for this year.

(1) Your spiritual goals.

Are you following with your Bible reading plan? What about fasting and pray. Attending all church services. Evangelizing… how far have you realized them?.

(2) Your intellectual goals and Personal Development goals.

Did you plan to read a book every month? Attend a training and so on. What have you accomplished already?

(3) Your financial goals.

Are you saving as planned? Have you been faithful with your tithe and offering?

(4) Family goals and social goals.

Have you planned some time with your family? To reconcile with someone?

(5) Professional or academic goals.

What were your objectives for this year? Is there any deliberate progress?

(6) Health goals.

How many times have you done sport? Are you following up with your plan to cut down your weight? Are you taking in to much sugar?
Remember, 90 days are gone, we are left with 275 days.
As we conclude, remember this verse, Proverbs 16:9 “A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.”
So, if you have not done much, still give thanks to God for one or two things that you have achieved. Don’t kill yourself for what did not work out. Ask God to lead you as you step into the second quarter.
