Don’t Give Up Your Dreams When Faced with an Opposition

Genesis 26:22:
"And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

We all know of the man Isaac. Isaac the son of Abraham faced many difficulties in his life. It took 20 years for his wife Rebecca to conceive. Isaac also faced a drought and famine. He was heading to Egypt when God told him to stay in the land of the Philistines. Isaac invested in agriculture that year and had an abundant harvest (Gen 26:12). He became so prosperous that the Philistines began to envy him.

Dear friend, when you begin to prosper in God’s plan for your life and in your projects, rest assured that you will attract envy and jealousy. People you never imagine will blackmail you will begin to fight you. Isaac experienced that. The Philistines finally drove him away (V16). Even when he left, Isaac continued to prosper because of the blessing of God upon his life.

Beloved it doesn’t matter where you find yourself today because of rejection, jealousy, wickedness and envy. If you are with God, He will prosper you. So, Isaac and his servants kept digging wells that were closed by the Philistines in the days of his father. They searched in the valley and found another well, and the men of Gerar where he took refuge from the Philistines quarreled him there. Isaac did not stop. Then, he found another well, they still opposed him there.

Isaac did not get discouraged and did not abandon his dreams. Do not abandoned your dreams and projects. January is soon closing. Whatever opposition you have faced, keep working on your projects.
Isaac moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. Hallelujah! He finally got to a place of no quarrel, no fight, no opposition.

So Isaac called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” From there, He went to Beersheba where the Lord appeared to him. Hallelujah!

This February coming shall bring you to such a place of no quarell, no opposition. You shall be established without any opposition. No body shall question your promotion. The Lord is taking you to your Rehoboth. The place of fruitfulness. Don’t Give Up because of Oppositions.
