Raising Your Faith to the Next Level

Romans 10:17:
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Have you ever wandered why too many Christians are not victorious in in life? It is good to know that there are different levels of faith which are:

(1) Death faith is equal to no faith.

It is faith that has no corresponding actions as we see in James. Mere beliefs without actions is equal to death faith. We also have:

(2) Little faith.

It does not produce great results. It still doubts, fears and worries about daily needs and challenges. Matt 14:31

(3) Mustard Seed Faith.

This is faith that can handle some life challenges. It produces extraordinary results. Matt 17:20

(4) Great Faith.

This is faith that believes the impossible and dares the unbelievable. Matt 15:28.

You need to raise your faith to Great Faith because it is always done to us according to our faith. God wants us to grow in our faith.

How do you raise you faith from one level to another?

(1) The revelation of God’s word.

Paul teaches us in Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. You grow your faith by studying God’s word. The word of God is the first raw material for the boosting of our faith. Read it; meditate it; speak it is and practice it.

(2) Speak the Word and not your feelings.

If you wish to see God’s word at work in your life, speak it out. Out of the abundance of your heart the mouth speaks.

(3) Listen to the Spirit of God.

He speaks, teaches and directs. Jesus had great impact because of His intimacy with the voice of God in every matter of His life and ministry. Learn to hear God’s voice behind the Scriptures.

(4) The law of love.

Faith works properly through love (Galatians 5:6).
Whatever we do or wish to achieve in life should be motivated or directed by love. Once the motive is pride and selfish, it short-circuits the power of faith.

(5) Listen or read other people’s testimonies.

Father, grant me the revelation of your work and fill me with unconditional love as I walk on this earth.
