There Is Still More to Be Seen and Experienced
Abundant Life Devotional

THERE IS STILL MORE TO BE SEEN AND EXPERIENCED
1 Corinthians 2:9: But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
If a person ever thinks that He has seen it all and experienced it all with God, he is only deceiving Himself. Beloved, if we truly know God, we will know that we do not yet know Him enough. That’s what keeps us humble before Him. And so, never conclude about your life that you have already arrived or had it all. No! There is yet a higher level, a higher dimension that God still wants you to discover. The sky alone is your limit.

Apostle Paul in our passage makes it clear that as far as God is concerned, there is never a definite and a “forever condition” on earth. As long as you upon the Bible to this verse, no matter what you have seen and experience with God, the verse will still say, “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'” Hallelujah!
God has reserved a better life, a higher life, I mean an Abundant Life for each of us. Where you were yesterday irrespective of your achievements is still nothing compared to what He wants to do today; and nothing near what He will do tomorrow. I remember a man five years ago who was in such debts that the bank almost took his house. We began praying and He was reading and devouring books. Today, the man is executing and projects worth 300 million. He hasn’t seen anything yet.
Beloved there is a higher level in your ministry, your profession, your business and so on. God is more than ready to take you there, not only for your personal satisfaction, but primarily for His Kingdom agenda. He wants to showcase His power, His wisdom and His glory through His children in this generation. What do we need to do then?
(1) You have to believe that God has more for you than you have already experienced, and you open up your heart to Him.
(2) Understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life.
That is why the next verse says, “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” Praise the Lord that we have the Holy Spirit in us. He reveals the deep things of God to us.
(3) Love God with all your heart, soul, and strength.
Don’t play game with God. Be sincere in your faith. Truly love Him and serve His purpose in your life.
