IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME, THINGS WILL BE BETTER

Psalms 30:5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

I counselled a young lady some months ago who was furious with her fiancée and calling him childish. She was determined to terminate the relationship and move away. I told her to give some time. Yesterday when talking with her, she had changed her mind and want to continue the relationship. What happened? Time!

Beloved, time is a major factor on earth. With time, many things you see today will change. Many things we appreciate today will depreciate tomorrow. I am glad that God gave me time. With time, my problems can be solved. With time, my challenges can be overcome. What seemed impossible yesterday can become possible tomorrow.

Have you not noticed that with time, your anger against a friend, your spouse or a colleague subsided and you were able to reconcile?
Beloved it is just a matter of time. Never take a permanent decision on a temporal issue because time will tell.

Some people have committed murder, kill themselves when they just needed time to reflect, and solution will come.
Our God gives us an opportunity in time to change things. Himself uses time to correct us, improve us and bless us. Four truths to learn from our passage:

(1) God’s anger is but for a moment.

It does not last forever. He can forgive you today of your sins of yesterday. Confess to Him. He can still bless you today even if He were angry with you yesterday. His anger is for a moment.

(2) God’s favor is for life.

Hallelujah! Did you get that? It actually means that God’s Favour towards us is permanent. Any day, any time. His Favour is available today. Take advantage and come to Him.

(3) Our weeping will endure only for a night.

I love this. Beloved, your pain shall not be forever. You are weeping shall not be forever. Your disappointment shall not be forever. You lack shall not be forever. Give it sometimes. Yes, endure it today, because your tomorrow shall be better than your today. No matter what you are going through today, cheer up. See the last point,

(4) Joy comes in the morning.

Praise the Lord. This is a new morning. You can anticipate joy today. You can anticipate solution today. You can anticipate a change of your situation or condition today. Beloved, joy comes in the morning.
