YOUR HELPER HAS COME

John 14:16: “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever”

You may be in a trouble right now. You may be at a crossroads in your life and asking, “How do I solve this matter; how do I come out of this situation?”

Beloved, our Helper is here. The Holy Spirit of God.
Our Lord Jesus said to the disciples, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever”

The Holy Spirit was sent to be our Helper and to be with us forever. Jesus said in V18, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” You are not alone. You have the Spirit of the Father in you and with you. You have the Spirit of adoption who cries out, “ABBA, Father”. You are a legitimate child of God. As born again, there is never a day the Holy Spirit is not with us. We don’t need to feel Him, we simply need to acknowledge Him.

Knowing Him and walking with Him is the secret of every successful Christian life. One of His missions is to bring you into the fullest of your destiny and your inheritance in God. He is there with you. What do we need to know about the Holy Spirit?

(1) The Holy Spirit is God

He is not just a force or a thing. He is the third Person of the Godhead.

(2) He is the Power behind God’s creation.

Actually He is the first Person to be cited explicitly in Genesis 1:2. You need to know Him more.

(3) He is our Greatest Teacher.

John 14:26 says, “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit… will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” He can teach you all things. 1 John 2:20 says, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.” How? Verse 27 reveals it, “As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.”
Hallelujah. I love this. You can know all things through the Holy Spirit.

(4) He is our Advocate.

The word in Greek is “Parakletos” which also means Comforter, Guide, Helper, Intercessor, Counsellor, Strengthener, Standby. Hallelujah!
That’s who the Holy Spirit is to you.

Prayer: Father, reveal the Holy Spirit fully to me and help to discern His leading in my life. I decree and declare over my life; I will never be stranded again. By the ministry of the Holy Spirit, I know the way out. I know what to do in this matter. I receive the leading and help of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
