Our Great Helper is Here

John 14:16
“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever”

The Holy Spirit is such a wonderful person just like the Father and the Son. He is loving and meek. Among the multiple ministries of the Holy Spirit in a believer, He is come to be our Helper. Jesus said to the disciples, “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever”

Our Great Helper is here. This helper is so particular.

1)Yes, you have helpers in the natural, but here is a supernatural helper for you.

Though He is invisible, His ministry and actions can be very visible in your life and businesses.

2) Your spiritual Helper is in you and is with you forever.

Yes, your human helpers are there but, they are not permanent. They can fail you. But, Jesus said, “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:17‭-‬18) Hallelujah!!! You can celebrate and thank God for this great gift. Because the Helper is in you.

3) He brings you constant and consistent assistance.

He is called “paraklet”. See the translation of that word in the Amplified Version, “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever” Praise the Lord. You cannot run short of power and assistance when he is there. When Jesus used the word another, it is the Greek word “allos”, which means, “another of the same kind” as Jesus Christ. There is “heteros”, meaning “another of a different kind”. So, the Holy Spirit in us is another helper of the same kind like Jesus Christ. He can enable us to do mighty works as Jesus did, in fact even mightier works as promised in John 14: 12.

Praise the Lord!

May you go out and do mighty works this week. May the Holy Spirit bring you his help all through your life. Go out to reign and to overcome in Jesus name.
