Turn Your Problems Into Praises

By Eric Jinkwen

Jeremiah 29:11‭, ‬13:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Read the topic again in a personalized way, “I turn my problems into praises.” Yes, you can turn your problem into praises.

2) A problem can be something or a situation that takes away sleep from your eyes.
3) A problem can be a situation, a challenge or a relational problem that takes away smile from your face.
4) A problem can be anything that takes away peace from your heart and feed you with worry, fear, panic, regrets, bitterness.

First thing to note, Our problems in this world are not caused by God.
God is good and all the time God is good. Understand that there is no evil at all in God. Even when God allowed the Israelites to be carried into captivity, it was for their good. God’s thoughts toward them were not thoughts of evil but of good. As Jeremiah 29:11, says. “I say this because I know what I am planning for you, says the Lord. “I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future.” NCV

Dear friend, stop blaming God for whatever situation you may be going through now. God is not the source of your troubles. He is the solution. You need Him to come out. And you will remain in trouble as long as you think just for a moment that God is responsible for your trouble. If you keep blaming the only person who truly can and who wants to help you out, who then will help you then?

God does not give bad gifts to His children. It is not in the nature of God to steal, to kill and to destroy. That is the DNA of the devil. Our God is out to distribute abundant life to all who are willing to come to Him (John 10: 10). In fact, God goes out looking for people to bless. He intentionally carved out the plan for man’s salvation and personally executed it from start to end. God is out for blessings and promotions (James 1:17).

Let it be clear in your mind that God is a good God and not the author of any man’s troubles. If you see any trouble in the world, it is not from God.

Prayer. Father, thank you for the good plans you have for me. I purpose to turn completely to you with all my heart. Please help me out of my problems (sickness, financial crises, joblessness, family crises and so on). In Jesus name, amen!
