Have You Been Marked?
4 Go through the whole city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the forehead of everyone who is distressed and troubled because of all the disgusting things being done in the city.
5 And I heard God say to the other men, “Follow him through the city, and hill. Spare no one; have mercy on no one.
6 Kill the old men, young men, young women, mothers, and children. But don’t touch anyone who has the mark on his forehead. Start here at my Temple. ” So they began with the elders who were standing there at the Temple.
Ezekiel 9 : 4-6
INTRODUCTION:
The above scripture refers to the judgment the LORD GOD passed on the people of Jerusalem because of their disobedience to God (part of their malpractices is revealed in Ezekiel 8). The LORD passed a judgment over them in the realm of the spirit where; many who had partake in the malpractices (disobedience) where to be killed meanwhile, those that were not part of the malpractices were to be spared. The ones to be spared were those marked by the angel.
And all this was taking place in the realm of the spirit about to be applied in the physical realm but none of these people were even aware; perhaps those who were about to be killed would have repented and receive the mark to be spared too. And guess what, this is almost a similar thing that is to happen to us on the day of redemption. God is still marking for the coming judgment again and only the mark in you will make the difference between those to be saved and those to be rejected (unsaved). Let’s see into it:
GOD’S MARK
30 And do not make God’s Holy Spirit sad; for the Spirit is God’s mark of ownership on you, a guarantee that the Day will come when God will set you free. (GNB)
30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. (KJV)
Ephesians 4:30

God’s mark on everyone to be spared today is the Holy Spirit. This Spirit is the means by which God puts his mark us today. He is from God and is God himself as He is the third person of the Holy trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. He is the mark of God in every believer(born again Christian) and without him there is:
NO RESURRECTION FOR YOU AND I ON THE DAY OF REDEMPTION
11 But if the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death lives in you, then he who raised Christ from death will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of his Spirit in you.
Romans 8:11
For us to be resurrected in the day of redemption: the day when the believers will be resurrected, changed and receive their resurrected/glorious/ immortal heavenly bodies (1 Corinthians 15:20-23) just like Christ Jesus was, we will need the very Spirit by whom God raised Jesus our Lord himself.
To be more explicit, Jesus’ body was raised by God by the presence of his Spirit in Jesus and, you and I can only be raised through the same Spirit; without him in Jesus, the Lord Jesus wouldn’t have been raised. Likewise, He (the Holy Spirit) is the only one through whom God will raise us up in the day of redemption. Jesus himself said to Nicodemus:
5 “I am telling you the truth,” replied Jesus, “No one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit.
John 3:5-6
Jesus being the Saviour himself said without being born of this Spirit no one can enter the Kingdom of God. Part of the reason being that, this is the Spirit through whom God will give you that glorious immortal body that will permit you to live in heaven when you are resurrected. Heaven is a kingdom and citizens that abide there are made up of bodies different from that which we have here on earth (1 Corinthians 15:40-50, Philippians 3:20-21).
And if you must live in it, you must have a transformed body just like that of Christ when He (Jesus) was raised from dead by the presence of this Spirit.
Thus to receive the mark of God you need to receive God’s Spirit and this can only be possible if you are saved (born again) i.e. Believe that God raised Jesus from death and confess that Jesus is Lord and that’s it, you are saved (Or Sincerely Pray the Prayer Below).
God will put his mark (stamp) of ownership on you for the day of redemption; you will be raised with every other believer and not be exempted like those without the mark.
