RELEASE YOUR FAITH
Mark 11:24: “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them”.
The story is told of villagers who waited for rain for a long time. One day, they agreed to gather and pray for God to send them rain. On the set day as they came together, there was a young boy among them who came with an umbrella.
When he was asked why he carried an umbrella with him? He answered, “I believe that after our prayers, rain will fall and so, I came prepared.” What a demonstration of faith Dear friend, If you wish to experience the blessings of God’s Kingdom, you must display a childlike faith an not a childish faith.
A childlike faith is like the faith of the little boy in our story, believing that what we ask in prayer will be done.

The Bible says, “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”(Mrk 10:15). We need to believe like little children. They do not ask questions of doubt and fear.
Our opening text says, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” This is called, releasing your faith.
How do you release your faith?
(1) Believe that God exists and He is hearing your prayers. (Heb 11:6).
(2) Have assurance that what you are asking will be done for you. Faith is the assurance of things we hope for… (Heb 11:1)
(3) You must keep a positive confession.
Many times we destroy our prayer session with our negative confession. Learn to speak to your problems, declaring their end and that you have overcome.
(4) Dispel every doubt and unbelief from your heart.
Mark 11:23 says, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
(5) Expect the manifestation of your request.
1 John 5:15 “And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
Learn to release your faith.
Until you manifest faith, your prayer is just a recitation. The Bible says, without faith it is impossible to please God. You must exercise faith to experience your request. May God bless your week as you walk in faith.
