YOUR Intercession Can Make the Difference

Ezekiel 22:30: So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."

This verse has always been a great booster to my prayer life, especially when it comes to interceding for the land. We Understand from the verse that one person alone can made the difference in prayer. Let me put it the right way, You can make the difference in prayer. God is looking just for one person who has the concern for the land and the burden to intercede for it. Not complainers, but intercessors. One person is enough to bring down the grace and mercy of God upon a family, a church and a nation. May you be that one person.

In most cases, instead of praying, many Christian complain about what is happening in their land. Many nations’ condition today is not far from what Israel was going through. Ezekiel 22:29 says, “The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger.” If you look at your country, you see similar happenings. But God needs just one person to make the difference. Is it possible to make the difference alone?
YES! Let’s see some examples.

1) Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah (Gen 18).

God was ready to forgive the land if He had found 10 righteous people.

2) Moses interceded for the Israelites and God change His mind, and relented from destroying it Exodus 32&33.

4) God was ready to use Gideon alone to save the Israelites from their enemies.

Look at Judges 6:14: “Then the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” Unfortunately, Gideon looked for an army of 32,000 soldiers. God reduced the number to 300 soldiers. Can you imagine that?

Beloved, you alone can bring that change in your family through intercession. You can bring that change in your company and in your nation. Have boldness and confidence. You matter to God. Your prayers can create impact and make the difference. Rise up and pray.
