We saw different levels of authority established by God for the purpose of order, calling and principles. We cannot have two leading commanders in the same boat.
Taking the case of government and citizens, many people and even Christians have been taught and led to think that the government is evil and that we should pray against the government and against those in government. This idea has also been promoted along the years because some government leaders have been antagonistic to the church and her missions. But, let’s have a different view today through God’s word.

Today, we are studying curses inflicted by humans. This cause is the most rampant cause of curses today because many people out of anger, frustration, disappointment and other circumstances, use their mouth to utter negative and evil words to others.

La crainte de Dieu les avait quittés et ils ne considéraient plus les voies de Dieu. Écoutez comment Dieu le dit : “Mais le bœuf connaît son propriétaire et l’âne le berceau de son maître ; Mais Israël ne me connaît pas, mon peuple ne considère pas.” Ces animaux sont utilisés pour montrer à quel point Israël était devenu rebelle. Même le bœuf ou l’âne peuvent reconnaître et se soumettre à leurs maîtres, mais ces gens ne connaissaient plus les voies de Dieu.

The good news is that God came to seek for us in the person of Jesus Christ (Luke 19:9-10). Jesus Christ came to fully restore the broken relationship between man and God (John 14:6). All men can regain an intimate fellowship with God as the fellowship that existed in the Garden of Eden.
All men have fallen short of the glory of God. So, all men lost intimacy with God. Therefore, for man to regain his original purpose on this earth, he must engage in the discipline of seeking God.

Do you think Israel did not know anything about God?
No! The Temple was still in place and some religious activities were still going on in Israel, but these people’s hearts have departed from God. The fear of God had departed from them and they did not consider the ways of God anymore. Listen to how God puts it, “But The ox knows its owner and the donkey its master’s crib; But Israel does not know Me, My people do not consider.”

Every assignment produces a vision in its carrier. The vision is always a picture of a desired or preferred future. It is an ideal condition we wish to see happen. And so, we work hard towards bringing it to pass. But sometimes, it doesn’t come easily and so fast as we think.
Know this, harvest takes time. And depending on the kind of tree, some harvests take longer time. Any farmer knows that you cannot expect the harvest from a coconut tree as that from a corn farm.

Everything God created is an answer to a need or a solution to a problem. Every human is created for an assignment, for reward, for blessing. Children are a blessing. We said yesterday that our assignment is designed by God. Our assignment is also to a particular group of people. We cannot meet all the need of all the people. That will be taking the place of God. In a company, you cannot do everything: you are a guard, secretary, manager at the same time, no!

True Christianity is living by faith in God’s Word, where we are forever grateful and giving glory to God, not for what we expect Him to do, but for all He’s already done. We should come to realize that there’s nothing He hasn’t done for us yet.
No matter the crises or circumstances we face in life, God’s will is that we always maintain an attitude of thankfulness. He says in all things, give thanks, because He knows that you could never be disadvantaged.

When we seek God with all our heart, we normally find Him. Then, after we find Him, we get to know Him and to love Him. But, sometimes Christians behave with God as some married people behave with their partner.

Their love to their married partner is just for a moment and they begin to look outside. They are no longer satisfied with their spouses; they become fade up with the person to whom they pledged and vowed faithfulness. Man is naturally an insatiable being. Be watchful.

You are somebody special to God.
Those thoughts and feelings are lies from the devil aimed at getting you so down on yourself that you will never experience God’s best for your life. They try to make you feel you are “just not good enough” so why would God want to bless you? God does not have one child who is not good enough to receive His love.

God is unchangeable and faithful.
He cannot become wicked. There is no variation or shadow of turning with Him. Expect good gifts from Him. God delights in the prosperity of His children. Expect good gifts from Him. There are so many people and even Christians who don’t expect good things to happen to them.

They are so pessimistic and negative about life and the future. We should not just be positive thinkers; in fact, we should have our mind renewed by the revelation of God’s word.

Do you feel loved? It’s a wonderful thing knowing you are loved. Knowing that there is somebody out there that loves you makes you feel good inside. But if you feel unloved and feel that there is absolutely no one who even cares about you, then the lies of the Devil are working in you and creating a deep feeling of loneliness in you.

In all of God’s creation, God is saying that you are His most prized possession! In fact, in the mind of God, you are more valuable than the stars, the moon, the heavens, and all His handiwork.
Just like an artist with all the wonderful, creative pieces he designs, there’s always this one prized possession. That’s the way God feels about You! You are God’s workmanship, His masterpiece in all of creation.

Don’t waste energy on what you can do nothing about. There are some problems you can do nothing about them. Stop wasting your energy on them. Your gender, your height, your race, the climate, your nationality… you cannot do anything about them.

How come Abraham arrive at this point in life with Lot?
How can an uncle separated from his nephew?
The Bible reveals to us that God called Abraham to leave his country and his father’s house to a place God will show him.
There was no allusion to Lot or any other relative in that promise and in the plan of God for Abraham, but Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents.

Do you know that you can also learn godly and spiritual habits? Yes! In fact the best way to break free from ungodly habits is to replace them with godly ones.
Jesus Christ grew up with the habit of going to the synagogue and the Temple on the sabbath day. You remember the Bible says that, at the age of twelve, He was discussing with religious leaders in the Temple Court.

Psalm 100 is an invitation to all people to praise and give thanks to God. There is a strong emphasis about coming into the presence of God, V1-2.
This Psalm sums up the emphasis of a series of Psalms (95-100) on God’s sovereign rule, His goodness to His people, the responsibility of all nations to acknowledge Him, and the importance of God’s people exalting & worshiping Him.

Favour is a fundamental attribute of God that springs from His grace, His mercy and His love. It’s what Jesus did at Calvary that earned you the favour of God.
Not your good life or good account. You can obtain favour from God. It is not by merit; if it is, then it is not longer favour. I am not by any way saying that you should live carelessly and not seek to please God. No! But know that his favour is a gift, not a merit. We use this word “favour” in our every day language.
